Joseph Haydn was a brilliant composer, businessman and adventurer in turbulent times. He spent his childhood, youth and retirement in Vienna. This is also where he established ties with the powerful Hungarian Esterházy family.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in Salzburg on 27 January 1756 and spent one third of his short life travelling through Europe, devoting the final ten and a half years thereof turning Vienna upside down.

Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn on 16 December 1770, came to Vienna as a student and stayed here for the rest of his life – although not at just one address… In view of his incredibly frequent change of residence (67x within Vienna!!!), you can really draw on abundant resources when it comes to Beethoven tours!
